Upon purchase, your e-mail address is stored in our database. This is in order to be able to provide you with service and software activation keys in the future. A username is also generated and stored. In some cases this username may be your actual name. Other than that, we keep a record of your past key requests. We also retain e-mail conversations for approximately 2 years. This for the sole purpose of having a history of any issues that may have arisen in the past. StoxEV will not use your e-mail address to contact you with promotional offers.
If at any point you would like us to remove your e-mail address, username or e-mail interaction from our database, then please contact support. Please observe though, that without your e-mail address we will no longer be able to identify you as our client. As a consequence, deleting your e-mail address will mean the deletion of your account. There will be no way to recover the account after this point. As for changing our e-mail interaction or username, this may make it more difficult to provide you with support in the future.
Our website is simply a download and information platform for our software. Your activities are not tracked on our end, although the hosting service does keep some general records such as country of origin of visitors and the number of times certain pages are loaded. This data is however not connected to individual users. Furthermore, we do not consider it to be possible to connect this general data to the activities of any individual user in any meaningful way.
StoxEV has no intention of gathering data from or providing service to visitors younger than 18. We can however not check whether a visitor is 18 years or older. We advise parents to be involved with the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have either gathered data from or provided service to a person below the age of 18, then please contact support so that we can remove any relevant data.
StoxEV considers the protection of your personal data as a serious issue, and will take appropriate measures to counter abuse, loss, unauthorized access, publication and alteration. If you are under the impression that your data is not properly secured, or if there’s indications of abuse, then please contact our support.
